Yeah, the kind of thing that, only after being told it's AI, you say "I thought it might have sounded a little mechanical". But still impressive.

It is an interesting moment in our history for a special contradiction.

On 1 hand,we have very skilled humans doing their bests to become more robotic, machine like,precise,automatic..not quite there yet.
On the other hand,we have machines desperately wanting to be more human, mimicking looks,behaviours,attitudes,emotion,techniques..not quite there yet.

Have barely lifted a playing finger for past 10yrs or so..been busy whipping the llama machines,to sing for their keep.

•Link got broken..now #fixed. (picksd?)
•Added 2 more picky bits..1 nylon,the other a synthy pick patch.
•To do list: ponder the infinite complexity of an ever expanding awareness, and not be #so_flippin_lazy producing.

I can definitely see using tracks such as these as a groove track. Layering "human made" music on top for easy performance and interspacing the elements of human and machine where applicable. You would only need a song's basic (verse/chorus/verse/cadence/etc) template for the song's footprint and you're good to go.

## Updated 1st link ##

New pick piece added..is it man, woman or machine?
Straight from a RPP = REAPER printing process.

Any feedback welcome if sounding too harsh, loud, not enough variation, not enough emotion, dynamics, too much this or that? etc.
Be brutal,or be kind..choice is there.
Cheers.

Clicking randomly, I landed on the one that sounded a bit like Brain Damage, and was fooled by the AI. But after clicking a few more, it became obvious, but not nearly as much as I expected. Damn good samples.

Hello- apologies for not responding b4.. yes i very much agree- some like to think of it as augmentation- and there is elements of surprisingly good results when working in tandom with such technologies.
The sample selections are obviously the subtle differences..cadences-- phrase types etc..many strings or layers to a bow can make it more powerful i guess in a way.
Cheers for your time, observations & conclusion.

LOL- well that narrows it down a bit..hmm not sure which 1 you mean but ok! brain damage is fine!

I would expect any trained or honed players ears to recognize any subtle differences.. a lot of these pieces are quite heavily quantized on outputs and do lack a more pronounced degree of humanization overall.
Will work a bit more on them subtle human differences i guess...because that definitely changes how to sequence new phrases.
Thanx4thefeedback!!

I liked a couple of them, the ones with a quite lovely english melody, to me sounded like solo unplugged Hugh Cornwell tunes.
