Default Can anyone make me a theme?

Hi Guys, I don't usually come into the themes forum much, as i just stick to the Reaper default theme v5 (boring i know!)

But just wondered if anyone could make a theme at all?

I want the simplicity of Acid Pro 3.0, with its grey background, and grid lines, and the coloured tracks and items that alternate.

I've used Acid Pro 3 for years (not the latest Acid versions which look confusing to me) and i know Reaper is 200 times better than Acid.. however i am useless at themes and get hopelessly lost!!

So using the standard Reaper gray b/w theme does get me wanting to switch off after 20 minutes!

I know there are Vegas themes and an Acid Pro 6 theme, but i have tried these on Reaper, and while good, don't seem great, or as sharp as Acid Pro is?

Is it possible for someone to build a theme based on this?

I could supply my old copy of Acid Pro 3.0 if they needed it to work from, but as its from 1999? you can imagine its pretty basic! but so easy (to me) on the eye! lol

thank you

Maybe if you post a screenshot someone will get interested in your theme.

Yes very close i agree, but my v1 is quite a bit different and the colours are completely different - the Acid Pro 3 theme is very easy on the eye - the V1 Reaper is quite ugly?

Depends on what you are used to.
Never used Acid, so your shot immediately reminded me of early versions of Lotus 123, a book keeping programme!

Hope you find something you are comfortable with, but I have a feeling getting that sticking-up button look in Reaper could be tricky.

If you are looking for a gray theme, look this:
https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=78885
It's beautiful, soft gray colors, pencil and pastel. I tried many themes and stopped on this, very easy for my eyes.
Personally I hate all this fashion dark themes, because I don't distinguish inverse fonts, but well see my face in glossy Apple's screen. Pain for eyes.

Acid was my first DAW. And was my favorite of all time. That is why I picked Reaper.
It looks and works like Acid. A lot in fact. I was multi track recording in 2 or 3 minutes because the layout is so much like Acid.

Maybe try Reaper Session layout. Then import a song, just so you have tracks loaded. Then just spend some time with it.
In a week you will forget all about Acid.

This looks very similar to Reaper when you remove all the themes from the theme folder.

I might have to try Reaper v1 theme, OR remove all the themes from the theme folder to get it to look like this? (not sure how to do that though? Just delete everything in THEMES?)

just move then to a folder on your desktop, so you can easily put them back.
