Extending the end of item by vertical movement, the item is extended by 2 bars instead of one.
Set grid to 1/64 or 1/128. Move the event to the last 1/64 note in the measure. The event is moved directly to the next measure if that exists, or is hidden if the current measure is the last one.
i don't see anything in the changelog that seems to account for this, but i'm getting sudden messageless project crashes in this pre. a project reliably crashes at the same position each time. i downgraded to v5.973+dev0323 and these projects don't crash.

it's got to do with the volume envelopes in the attached minimum project file. originally thought it was reasynth of all things, but that was wrong. the envelope is hidden in the demo file, a consequence of unintentionally copied AI
