"Anything Less" - With Guest Backing Vocals & Changes
I've posted this before, but I've revised the arrangement, and now I have some guest backing vocals from Bob Cameron & his "Bobettes". A bit of a journey with a few different moods, this one!
Updated Mix with a few small changes: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pd_...ew?usp=sharing

The intro horns and instruments could use a little more finesse, but the rest is in our face Rock & Roll at it's best, at least to me it is.
Guitar is played very well. Good job.

Heya- just brilliant..sounds even more complete..and the strings just gorgeous..really inviting.
I dunno, people who put in this much effort, passion and desire to create, deserve a medal.
Fabtastik effort.

Thanks Tod, I really appreciate you taking a listen, even though it isn't the type of music you are into.

I'm a bit confused - which specific part of the music are you referring to? The intro has no horns at all in it, just strings - violins and cellos to be specific. I was pretty happy with how they were sounding...but I'm definitely open to specific suggestions on how they could be improved.... Maybe they are pretty bad if you thought they were horns?!?! Haha! Horns do come in btw, just much later in the song.

Thanks Reapology... yeah, this song's a bit of a special project... but I don't want a medal - just a few listening ears will do fine!

You should be confused fHumle, I just gave another listen and I think your strings are great.
I listened to so many songs yesterday, I think my I might have gotten confused with another post.
I think your song is very good, well mixed, very well performed and put together.
And I'm not against rock, not at all, it's just not my prefered genre.

Hi
Well this DON'T suck Awesome.
Long time since listened to the previous version, but this seems to 'melt' the intro better to the song, but....
I would love to hear a bridge with strings and guitars to REALLY make a transition.
Regardless, this is AWESOME!!!

Thanks msundh!…I’m a bit confused though, because the bridge does have strings and guitars… so I’m not sure I’m catching your meaning…
In any case, thanks for listening and commenting- much appreciated!

I listened to the updated version and there's no guitars together with the strings.
I was was thinking blending guitar solo with the present string solo at the end of the intro.
Anyway, it's damn good as is.
