Group tracks that have receives to right
I would like to be able to see all my send busses on the right of the mixer, as it's possible with the master track : "Show master track on right".
"Goup tracks that have receives to left" already exists, so it should be pretty simple to add the option to right align those tracks...

Goup tracks that have receives right
I post this in 2010 and the function still not added, so I repost! Looks like something pretty easy to add to Reaper...

However, it would be nice to group to top or bottom for the TCP view.

edit: even better, an option to group receive tracks next to master track on the right side (not stickied to normal tracks)

Yes, it's odd to group folders or aus busses to the left when the mixer is at the right.
But as I usually use folders to group instruments I'm not sure how to make use of the feature. If I toggle folders to the left all of my nested folders move around. What is the point of it?
More usuable is the receive toogle. But in EDM so many tracks are sidechained to the kick it gets pointless easily.
How about a "stick to master" flag for tracks? So you have control which tracks appear in a convenient place.

Yes, we definitely need that!
Furthermore it would be great to have these tracks in the same manner as the master track: sticky!
So, when you scroll the mixer view, the busses, sends, etc... are locked (like the master track). That way they are always quickly accessible.

A suggestion for this request.
Track tags. Auto tagging. Do stuff with tags, such as placing them in a certain order in the mixer, or the arrangement. Let control surface plugins see only tracks with specific tags. Colour tracks with certain tags and so on.
Tags are great for organizing stuff. We do it for audio and video files, so we should ask ourselves what it could do for tracks.

I agree with what everyone says rewarding the Mixer settings as well as the "TPC".
To me the Best solution would be to allow users to place each channel (this also applies to the TPC)where ever you want it.
For example: B=Buss, X=Effects, F=Folders (Closed), T=Tracks, S=Spacer, MS=SubMaster, M=Master. my layout would be like this;
Left to Right: FFFSTTTTSTTTTTSBBBBSMS-M-SXXX
A Spacer would be the gap that the user would leave between tracks at what width they would like and this would not be a used track, just a gap between tracks.
In simpler terms make the Master track and other tracks user assignable on location and turn off snap to grid off.

Bump! Must be a simple thing to implement given it's already there for the left.
