Default Drivel theme

Sorry to be derivative, but I liked the aldi variation just posted with the stelzbock_stealth icons,(love em!) but i wanted the icons to have blue glow instead of aqua,(not a fan of aqua) so I made a photoshop "action" to change the hue on all of them. Plus a few changes to the theme to fit the blue sceme. Hope you like it!

PS I'm working on some new metallic looking icons to go with my Noir theme. It's HARD to make icons work with any color theme!

It's Navy! Interesting variation. I like the idea of having a mood-theme choice. Looks cool.

It would be even more cool if the theme-settings was saved with the song.

nice, eMaRe! very nice adaptation of some great buttons. PhotoShop action? hmmmmm.. here, PS doesn't even read .ico files. What do you know that i don't? (lots, i'm sure)

i've been busy doing the same kinda thing. this theme uses buttons based on Stelz' stuff too.. some very similar (just tweaked), others redone totally.

Recoloring really gives them a totally different look.

yup, that's what i've been using, JB. But he mentions an 'action'. i assume that means a script that can be applied to multiple files.

with the Gimp, i had to recolor each icon seperately. took me a long time! Since i was editing them anyway, it wasn't a big deal. But now that they're modified, i'd like an easy way to recolor them; just to experiment.

Hey guys!
Thanks for your kind words. Here's where I got the pluging to make PS edit icons.

http://www.telegraphics.com.au/sw/#icoformat

After that's installed, open the actions window, open a file you would work on, select "new action", press "record" and do whatever you want to the file, then hit stop, and you're done. Just like a macro. Then dump the icons you want to change into their own folder, go to "batch processing", and select the action you just made. Thats about it! You should read the help on the batch dialog, though, it can be tricky.

Teej, can you post a file your icons? I like the added contrast in your version.

... never mind, found it in another thread.
