REAPER for Linux is working quite well!
I recorded most of this while running a stock ticker, email, web browser, and during some of it, Kodi playing teevee streaming from a MythTV server in the other room. REAPER chugged away without ever experiencing a glitch.
I recorded all my parts in REAPER for Linux and my buddy Polymod recorded his in REAPER for Windows and then he sent me his tracks. The final mixing and mastering were done in the Linux version of REAPER. Here's the end result. https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=13777999 |

Sound awesome. Similar to one of my favorites Joe Satriani. Well done. Sweet sound on the guitar. Love it...(thumbs up)

Thanks Tobbe, Satriani is one of my favorite players. I am really stoked at how well REAPER for Linux is working. I thought I would be tethered to Microsoft and Windows for music creation, but I can do pretty much everything I did in Windows, with similar performance, and am only missing a few plugins.
