"Kiss My Wife" Final Master - comments?
Hi all - I would be interested in comments on this tune, "Kiss My Wife". It was fully recorded and mixed in Reaper by me
Michael Hateley at Lotus Mastering did the final master and this is the released version of the song.

Very cool tune! Great job! Is that a real drummer or software? I didn't hear anything at all that sounded out of place or jumped out at me. Lyrics are great! Everything sounded well balanced. Loved it!

Sooooo very R.E.M. Not that that's a bad thing, but hopefully that's what you were going for....
Only suggestion is to change the name..."I Wanna Kiss My Wife" avoids any association with "Kiss My Ass." Just sayin.

Hey, thanks, Jeffsounds. Those are software drums - Jamstix, which I really love, since I'm a non-drummer and am very clumsy when programming fills, etc.
Thanks for the comments!

Thanks, foxAsteria! Yeah, I noticed that about the title, when it was partially obscured in a Facebook post (all the reader could see was, "Kiss My..." I'll have to think about changing it!

Well, when I saw the title It gave me an immediate impression that the song was going to be a chuckler - and it was so...job done, no? What is a title for?
Can't wait for the B side - Stroke My Pussy? Feed My Cat?

It's very REMesque, but take it as a compliment. I really liked the lyrics
Mix wise, it sounds fine.. but then again, I'm listening to it through cheap earbuds.

Thanks, g4greg! I guess it's still a good thing that it sounds ok in cheap earbuds!

I cracked up at the line "wipe that lipstick off your face, let's start a whole new human race" lol. Mix sounds legit and very well balanced.
I could see this song being the opener for a Bob's burgers type sitcom or something. job well done broskee

Or risk a high profile court fight to amp up the publicity! Thanks, Naji!
