Default Yosemite CPU overflow

Hi i am experiencing weird behaviour since i went to Yosemite.

Reaper reaches on average 120% CPU (!). When i check in the reaper monitor it tells me i run around 10%... So it means for some reason Yosemite (who has proven unstable) can't cope with reaper (4.77).
Did anyone had same experience ? Other software seems to behave normally with yosemite (except it boots one time out of two...) but i freeze each time i use reaper after some point.

if you have any clue....

good day to you all

Guillaume

I also noticed that the data in the CPU performance panel is always different from the data in the system Activity Monitor.
While in Reaper CPU performance panel shows 10-20% in system Activity Monitor may shows up to 100% and more.

What exactly I must believe?

No issue here. No CPU craziness or crashing

1. What interface are you using?
2. What is your buffer set to?
3. Is it crashing when using your interface only or when Internal is selected for the audio device?

I would try re-installing 4.77

Nothing is crashed and all works fine. And about the audio buffer all clear has long been...
But personally I do not understand exactly what data to trust to the load on the CPU.
As already mentioned there are different numbers in Reaper CPU performance panel and system monitor.

Default Yosemite is the b***tch

Had to manoeuver to re-install snow leopard on my music partition cause at the end Yosemite won't boot at all. Worked out fine. Now reaper 4 77 works totally fine (although still showing 129% CPU on average) under old snow leopard. no more freezing, no more problems. Except apple do not do any update for snow leopard anymore, meaning browser becoming slowly out of date... which had drove me to install yosemite in the first place...
for the first time in my life i'm pissed at Apple.

thank you for answers/feedback anyway
