Default FR: ReaSamplOmatic5000 - Snap offset

I don't know if this is possible, but I got the idea from the drum sequencer in VPS Avenger and it's a really useful feature.

Basically it would be a snap offset (like on Media items) that you could drag to the desired point in the sample. That offset would then represent the MIDI note start and anything before that would automatically get pre-delayed, meaning no more manual nudging of notes to get the sample to hit right on the grid.

Mmmh ... that seems to be a revolutionary idea.

Normally you have an "offset" - and a sample will be played
from this offset-point onwards.

You want to introduce a new "snap offset" - and the sample
will be played even before this snap offset.

This seems to me like putting the cart before the horse. I'd
like to have it easy and simple: Play a sample from the
offset on. And adjust the groove by using a track-delay-
parameter like suggested here .

The normal offset would of course still be there, but you could set this by dragging from the bottom left corner like on media item's.

Obviously it's nothing revolutionary but it's a pretty useful feature and means you don't have to adjust the delay by ear.

You can already set the sample start in RS5K.

Yes, but that only plays anything after the start offset. My request is a bit different.
