Default Open source Jesusonic implementation

There seems to be an open source Jesusonic implementation here:

https://github.com/asb2m10/jsusfx

It's aimed at Max/MSP and pure data.

Any thoughts?

I suppose Reaper for Linux (PC and ARM) does provide the full JSFX SDK. Right ?

A (full featured) open source JSFX library could allow for a version of ReaPlugs->ReaJS for Mac. (AFAIK, ReaPlugs is only provided for Windows right now ?!?!? )

I have more questions than answers right now, Michael...

No, it doesn't. The official JSFX has never been open source or available as an SDK.

It's always going to be behind the official version and/or incompatible in some manner.

I've often been wondering why Cockos doesn't just themselves open source JSFX? I wouldn't imagine that contains a lot of really valuable "trade secrets", since the core Eel language is open source anyway...

Sorry for unclear wording.

My question was if Reaper for Linux includes the possibility to edit JSFX plugins in the same way as Reaper for Windows does.

It has the same built-in "JS Development Environment" window. (That should exist in every version of Reaper, for any OS.)

Reaper for Linux is effectively the same as Reaper for Windows and Reaper for Mac, in every way I can think of (with exceptions about the plugins it can host, since each OS has its own plugin VST/AU format that's native to it). Windows VST won't run in Reaper for Mac, AU plugins won't run in Reaper for Windows, etc.
