Is there a way of associating files with Reaper, such that if I open 9say) a wavpack file, it will run Reaper and present me with a new project with just that file open as an item in a single track? That would be handy.... indeed, that would enable one to have Reaper call Reaper when double clicking on an item, like a wave editor.

I hope it's optional - all my audio file types have multiple custom right-click items and it's a (minor) drag to have to recreate them because something wants to claim a shared filetype (like wav, mp3, or ogg).
Oh indeed, it would have to be optional (and if it needs to be set up in Explorer in due course, some idiot-proof instructions on how to do that would be appreciated!).
