Why isn't ReaLimit shown in the FX Browser/context "New" folder/menus when updating release version?. Just seems odd.

With the removal of the IO menu in the pin connection window, is there any way to set pass-through vs zero buffer behavior on unmapped channels when using AU plugins? Thanks.

There never was an I/O menu, there was just a button that didn't do anything when you clicked on it. Unfortunately the behavior you are referring to is not supported for audio units, yet.

Ah ok, thanks for the clarification. I'll hold on to that "yet" and hope a little.

In the MIDI editor, If I select and mute one note in a chord, the CC events (sustain pedal, etc) are also muted.
Expected behaviour: If one note in an area are muted, CCs are not changed. If ALL notes in an area are muted, also mute the CCs.
Also, the theme colour mean that muted CCs are quite difficult to see due to lack of contrast with the background.

I concur that the mute note repercussion on the CC events is not practical. Have you found an FR or created one for this?

No, I don't use the MIDI editor that frequently, but I often see updates in the changelogs, so I can't be sure when the issue started.

Is there a way to copy the midi note name order to other projects in MIDI editor note reordering?

If you save note/CC names to file (MIDI editor menu: File > Note/CC names > Load/Save...) note order is also contained, so you could import that into other projects.

While we can save MIDI CC file inside REAPER like MIDI note names, a user might also wonder where we can rename MIDI CCs within the MIDI Editor too.

Yeah, I think something defintiely changed. Probably just a default setting? I don't recall changing anything, but now all notes are intrinsically linked to events.
In this example, I can't select the note and change its parameters like I could before because I get the sustain pedal event with it.
