Default Action list query

All hail, Reapoids, all hail.

I am in and out of the action list like a fiddler's elbow. I can open it with a "?" or a button on me controller. However, I have yet to find a way to close the little blighter with a key or CC.

Is there a way to close it by key shortcut or midi CC? With all the other browsers, mangers, etc, I can but I may be missing something blindingly obvious with the action list.

Anks,

Good question .

There seems to be no dedicated action to close it.
If it's focused and not docked the Esc(ape) key closes it. If not focused I hit "?" first and then Esc.
I have no idea how to close it via shortcut key when it's docked.

Exactly.

If any of the devs might perchance stumble upon this admittedly minor oversight, can we have a way to close the action list with a key or CC?

Unless someone knows the secret.....

Would it work for the devs to set this up as a round-robin? shift-? open, shift-? close...

or do some people use multiple action windows at once?
Think that would work for me.

This might not work in your case, but my workflow is to
simply close the dock with shortcut (View: show Docker).

Yeah, I have my managers and wotnots lashed up to the buttons on my MCU and also a Logitech G13 and I, like you, have a few workarounds to actually get rid of a docked action list. View: show Docker is an action I've never used so that's a good tip, thanks. What I've been doing is to get back to the "TCP only" view with one button and then open up a new manager docked in that.

I just thought it a bit of an anomaly for all the other managers to be open and closeable and not the action list.

So, it's been seven years... the 'show actions list' command still hasn't been fixed to work when docked. Is there some other workaround people have found?

There is a setting that after selecting or running a item in actions it will automatically close.
