Display 'Loading Peaks... %' on items

Today I imported a 2 hour long .m4a file and although it imported quite fast, the peaks did not generate very quickly at all. At first, about 3 minutes of the file loaded, the rest appeared blank.

I didn't mind, really, this was a recording of a band jam that I was just jumping through looking for certain bits. After about 25 minutes of splitting up the items, suddenly all the peaks loaded at once.

It would be nice if instead of just appearing blank, Reaper displayed some sort of message directly on the item about their loading, and how close they are to done.

One curious thing is that if I zoomed in enough, I could actually see the peaks in any section of the file, but zoomed out they appeared blank. After that 25 minutes though, they worked at any zoom level. Is this just with M4a files? I've never seen that before.
