Default Trying Forte for Live playing

I once tested Forte for creating a keyboarder's Life ("stage") setup for playing VSTis. I found it was easy to use but not versatile enough for my needs. So I tried to enhance it by using "Boeme Translator Pro" for preprocessing the Midi events. But even this was not sufficiently versatile and a setup with multiple desktop programs did not seem very appropriate. Moreover I would have to learn and to buy both, and additionally I was about to start using a DAW which I also would need to learn and to buy.

So I switched to Reaper and with a lot of help from this Forum I was able to do the setup exactly as I was up to and had to learn only a single program and shell out only a minimum amount of money.

This decision was a really good on, as Forte is abandoned now .
