Auto XFade not working on "split at prior zero crossing"

"Hello. I usually split with opt-z "split at prior zero crossing". But when I do this the "Overlap and crossfade items when splitting" preference doesn't kick in. Not sure if bug, or...? But it'd be nice if that worked. Thanks!"

edit: nevermind. I realized the way it currently works is probably for the best. Sorry, I sorta jumped the gun on this one.
