Is there a scalar variable to tell WALTER if an envelope is selected?

Hi Peeps

First theme post of the new decade, so happy New Year fellow Themers

Okay, today I would like to know if there is a scalar variable that can tell WALTER if an envelope is selected.

We have one for if a track is selected, track_selected and that is handy for changing elements when a track is selected.

But I would like to do a similar thing if an envelope lane is selected.

I have searched the SDK for this and I cannot find anything. In fact I can't even find the track_selected variable either and I must have copied this from another theme.

It would be really nice if there were a scalar value for selected tracks as well.

This would help solve issues where the graphical difference between selected vs unselected tracks is a bit unclear.

Oh snap, I did not see that. Thanks! I was even looking through the WALTER documentation yesterday. I wonder what other hidden values there are?

I Have asked a couple of times about stuff that hasn't yet been documented.

This one is buried in another post where I asked for the scalar variables to be brought up to date:-

To be honest, as I get to the point of finished my own theme I am coming round to thinking that I no longer care. Most of my questions here generally fall on deaf ears and I feel I am being a mithering nuisance.

track_selected is a new thing for Reaper V6. When new things are added, I'm afraid you have to rely on the change logs if you want to stay cutting edge, until the documentation catches up.

I searched the change log for "track_selected" and it ain't mentioned.

I also searched for "norec" because I know that the related images are in the V5 and V6 default themes but not mentioned in the documentation.

Those "norec"images were added back in March 2019.

I also searched for "master_volbg" which appears to have been introduced in V6 but there is no mention of that either.

So relying on the change logs to "stay cutting edge" isn't possible.

Is there are a scalar value for "track_has_fx"?
