Default ''S&M Theme Helper'' no longer working

Hi.

The following two actions are not working for me on v6.03:
- SWS/S&M: Show theme helper (all tracks)
- SWS/S&M: Show theme helper (selected tracks)

These are both part of SWS Extensions, which I have used for many years. They display the track panel's width and height, measured in pixels. This is an invaluable tool for color theme development, because it helps when writing WALTER code into the rtconfig.txt which is closely related to the dimensions of a track panel.

Has anyone else experienced this? I'll post this to Bug Reports in case anyone has.

Edit: It works on v5.99, so something happened between then and v6.03. I'm trying to track down which version it breaks in.

On v6.00, the SWS Extensions menu and its actions are completely unseen! I got them back by rolling back to v5.99, so they weren't actually deleted. Yikes.

Thanks!
- Mike

There have been changes to Reaper's TCP/MCP architecture in Reaper v6, so some SWS stuff that relied on the old architecture broke. On a quick test the Theme Helper seems to be one of them, in other words: confirmed.

Best is to open an issue on the SWS issue tracker for it:
https://github.com/reaper-oss/sws/issues

Btw. when using Reaper v6 I'd suggest using the current SWS beta, which has some support for the v6 changes already (along with bugfixes), compared to current official SWS:

Thanks for the confirmation, nofish! I'll report this to the SWS Extensions team.

This tool is very helpful. Without it, I probably wouldn't even bother writing WALTER code, because I rely very heavily on the TCP and MCP dimensions to determine how to code in the various elements.

I know it's way more tedious, but maybe as a workaround for now (if on Windows), in the few occasion I need to measure pixels (I'm not a themer) I use PixelZoomer.
