Default Change app title and icon when updating?

I'm not so fond of the current REAPER64 name as well as the icon, so I happily changed it in MacOS to "Reaper" and added a nice vinyl icon instead. So far so good.

However, that means that new for new updates to happen I need to rename, overwrite and then re-add the icon to the app yet again. Since Reaper are capable of doing so much, perhaps there's a feature for this as well?

If it can be done by hand, it could probably done via scripting. So I would suggest you to try writing a Lua script that does it for you.
Unless Mac needs special treatment for changing the icon.
