Default 'Continuous scrolling' feature in MIDI Editor?

I get that the MIDI Editor can sync with the arrange view's play cursor, but is quite done poorly by scrolling in a page by page fashion. It's somehow confusing at times. I'd love to have the play cursor of Midi Editor to stay in the middle during playback. Not a big deal but could save some time, and my eyes.

So anyone?

There is an option to have continuous scrolling under the main Options menu. With that cursor moves from the start of the project to the center of the view first and then stays there while the media scrolls underneath it.

You can make the same happen in MIDI Editor if you set the Piano roll timebase to Project synced in the MIDI Editor View menu.

Continuous scrolling used to be quite stuttery in the past in many systems (like mine), but looks better nowadays. However, in MIDI Editor it looks so jarring, I'd rather have a bit glitchy play cursor on top of an unmoving item than have everything stuttering. It might be different in your experience.

Thank you! You're right. It's seems like the play cursor on MIDI Editor is still trying to snap on every vertical grid line it goes through. I'll try to look for some setting that could fix that. Hopefully..

Thanks! Been looking for a solution for a long time. This will do!
