Default How can i avoid changing the height when selecting tracks in TCP

Related with what is happening in area selection pre, i reminded to ask here before posting in nitpick. This is subtil but makes my brain "#$#&$%/%&(&W%%#&$%/$

Also , since Reaper is a sub world, at some point i might even have configured something which is causing this. So ! Any one knows if i can setup in a way that the height of tcp tracks is not changed when selecting tracks?

Thank you so much!

At least for new projects:
Change default track height for new projects.

Preferences>Project>Track/send defaults - set to small.

Somebody will have a script to do this to all tracks within an existing running project no doubt.

Your track heights change because you have both “Automatic record-arm when selected” and “Always show full track control panels on armed tracks” enabled. Disable either of them. The latter is in Preferences/Audio/Recording. (Think it should rather be in Appearance/Track Control Panels...)
