Default Vertical browser-style scrolling too slow

Vertical browser-style scrolling - maximum speed:

It's too slow and should be as fast as horizontal scrolling is:

Vertical scrolling involves far more video items than horizontal, since in horizontal the actual Track Controls part remains static, just the actual track content moves.

No idea if this is really what is causing it to go slower, but to my mind it makes sense.

I remember once I did some change to a TCP theme image file and WALTER code and it caused vertical scrolling to be very slow. So maybe it could be theme related? Could you try it on the default theme and see if there it works better?

Thanks you. No, same with default theme

For comparison
It's ok with scroll bars

Yes, I can use scrollbars, but c'mon it's 2021, we have mousewheel, middle button and mouse modifiers

And hand scroll is fine

I love hand scroll and use it a lot but when you need to scroll from track 1 to 100 you need to do hand scroll for 3 times, because of screen limitations (hope explained it clearly, sorry).

And just for this browsers style scrolling will be super useful. Like we use it in... browsers. But for now it's too slow.

If there is something like "scroll_speed" variable I'll be happy if devs change it to more usable value

Yeah I get what you are saying. Broswser-type scroll should be smooth, fast and snappy.

Another thing you could try is hover your mouse over the TCP area instead of the arrange area and scroll from there. On my system it is noticably faster than scrolling when mouse is over arrange.

+1 for this request. The view teleports horizontally but very sluggish vertically.
