Default Realearn conditional activation

I’m currently away from my computer so I can’t mess around with this for a little while, but I’m trying to do some research on the topic of conditional activation. If I LEARN a button to switch between on/off on the controller and set that (Learn source) to control a generic parameter 1-20, can I then start a new mapping and LEARN that same generic parameter to another VST parameter? So essentially controlling two vst parameters with one encoder on the controller? Sorry if that’s confusing. Any tips or insight appreciated.

For this kind of learn, best to use helgoboss realearn's imo

Natively you can't go midi control path cause you'll have to learn each time you change the mapping.

Midi input path could do it, if the plug-ins are on separate tracks, you can change the routing of a midi controller dedicated input track. But then the learned controls can't be moved with the mouse anymore wich is not nice.

Realearn allows you to change mapping just by bypassing an fx or switching preset. And if your controller support it it can send midi feedback wich makes things is so damn easy and responsive.

There's another nice solution with lb0's smartknob script too.

I guess I forgot to mention that I am using realearn. That’s where I’m trying to do it.

Ah ok, so you just have to switch preset then, or even better, one instance of realearn with distinct settings on each track and tracks set to auto-arm.

More for plug-in control on single track. Not worried about controlling multiple tracks at one time.
