There's a new column in the Grouping Matrix for VCA linking.

Select one or more tracks, press SHIFT+G to show the Grouping window, look for [ ] VCA Master and [ ] VCA Slave checkboxes. And (as ED said above - ninja'd again!), VCA Groups are also displayed in the Grouping Matrix.

One more suggestion, what about displaying the outputs in the TCP as well, it will be more useful for those who are using an analog console and need to assign the outputs of the tracks (from their interface so they can be sent to the console's channels).

Cool, thats neat!
It would be amazingly nice if the vca master could also monitor the volume levels of the vca slaves in its meter automatically, without the user having to create dummy sends.

Item-FX on Instrument without Rendering?
Hi all,
With Item FX come all these amazing new possibilities. It works incredibly for placing plugins on audio items so far!
My question - what about on a VST? If I wanted to automate a filter sweep on the AUDIO of one MIDI item, is there any way to do this? Maybe this is getting complex, but I love the idea of taking a measure of a synth line and placing a plugin on its Audio, as if it were rendered out already.
Thanks!
Ferro

The difference a small video can make in our perception and understanding of features we'd normally overlook. Plus eliminating language barriers.
Idea: A forum/library/catalog with small videos demonstrating such features and techniques.

Like.
But this could theoretically be in the (already existing) Cockos Wiki ?
I mean entries like this one for example
http://wiki.cockos.com/wiki/index.ph..._grid_with_SWS
are exactly that no ?
It's just that the Wiki somehow doesn't seem that popular for whatever reason (to my impression).

I personally prefer the forum, because I visit often, and I don't like to spread myself thin when it comes to getting information. But I am open to whatever is the best place to do it.
Is the wiki up to date overall?

Insert the instrument plug-in before the filter plug-in in the take FX chain.

Hi Justin
I wonder if you still will do something about automatic stretch markers added,
or if I have to do a script to add stretch markers to selected items at tempo markers. This way it could be more manual but maybe easier to manage.
If you decide to add stretch markers automatically to all items, Would there be an option to show/hide stretch markers on all items?
Or maybe just the auto added ones? Thanks

There are plenty of good video examples out there that show workflows. It's one of those little things that helps. Join is a command, Auto Join is an option.

After lots of searching - I am at a loss as to enable these two features. Or have these not been implemented yet?
