Setting up Yamaha TF series as Reaper audio interface?
I'm still pretty new to Reaper (Windows 10 running Ver 6) I'm going to introduce a friend to Reaper and he will want to record multitracks into Reaper via his Yamaha TF3 console. I expected to have to install Windows/ASIO drivers/software for this desk but when I looked at the Yamaha Downloads Web-page I couldn't see any relevant download. In the past I've set up a LS9 as an audio interface and had to install some specific software.
Do I need to find and install software before I can set Reaper to interface with his TF3?
Thank you, The link is pretty much the same as the Europen downloads section as I was looking at; I had assumed that I should looking for an obvious drivers download, so instead I'll go read the user manual to discover what procedure I should follow to make this happen; I also guess that I need to install either the StageMix or TF Editor software from the downloads page.
Thanks again;
Jim.
Lol & Thanks Stella;
You make a valid point, I did notice the Steinberg Driver, but was very hesitant to try it as I assumed that it was a driver that was written only for Stienberg software I.e. Nuendo Live that comes included with the purchase of a Yamaha TF series mixer.
We'll be giving it a go tonight.
