(Sorry...) Waves VST Plugs Crash

I Downloaded some tool to turn the waves vst shells into single dll files. although they first appeared to work just fine - joy did not last long. after wondering why reaper crashed more and more i found out that if i move any control in the vst waves plug and then touch anything outside the fx-docker, reaper crashes. if i first click anything else in the fx-docker and then anything else, it works.
