Default Scroll to next marker

Hey there.

I'm experimenting with different methods for using reaper to display chords and lyrics on screen for live performances.

Is there a known way to have reaper scroll the display to the next action marker. I know you can jump to the next marker, however I'm only wanting to have the screen scroll to that point.

I've tried the commands "Toggle Experimental Smooth Scroll" and scroll right 10%, however the 1st is very hard to read and the 2nd is very hit and miss.

By the way this would be a great post for a "Using Reaper Live" section in the forums. (See my signiture)

If anyone is interested I've achieved this with the commands:

View: Move Edit Cursor To Play Cursor
SWS: Horizontal Scroll To Put Cursor at 10%.

I've created a custom action that calls these 2 commands and then call the custom action via an action marker at each point of the song I wish the screen to adjust (IE at the start of each verse or phrase etc)

I used this live for the 1st time last night and it was sensational!

What I would like to know now is if there is a way to adjust the horizontal zoom to match the space between 2 markers to accomodate for verses and choruses of varying lengths.

Didn't try it, but you could probably make (automatically, I mean) a time selection from one marker to the next and then zoom to the time selection. This should be possible with a macro i.e. custom action.
