Default Problem with RP-Delay 64-bit in Reaper 64-bit

I installed Reaper 64-bit on my new Laptop along with some of my favourite plugins but I can't get RP-Delay 64bit to show in Reaper. All the other 64bit plugins are working fine & the 32-bit version of RP-Delay only works in Reaper 64-bit if I completeley remove the 64-bit version from the vst folder. I've tried rescanning & clear cache/rescan but its not helping. When I clear cache/rescan RP-Delay shows in the Rescan list but its not there when I try to add it as a plugin.

Anyone any ideas?

have you asked rob about it ?

he and his collegue have a subforum at KVR and are available and very helpful. They also answer support tickets through their website very quickly.

All I can say that RP-Delay works fine on my Win7 64bit system, although that might not be of any help to you

Yeah I have. I think they're pretty stumped about it too. If I only install the 32-bit version It shows up fine in both Reaper x86 & Reaper 64-bit. But as soon as I install the 64-bit version of RP-Delay again then neither the 32 or 64bit version is available in Reaper 64-bit.

Whats really strange is that I have both version of RP-Delay working fine on my main Studio PC

Does anyone have any idea if there's anything I can do in Reaper to get it to see the 64-bit version of RP-Delay. I just find it very strange that it works on my main PC but not my new Laptop. There's no problem getting all other 64-bit plugins working, just RP-Delay.

Strange...

Some things to try:

1) Install on laptop in "Administrator" mode. Right click .exe and "Run as Administrator". (What OS versions are you running on PC and Laptop? Same?)

2) Copy 64 bit RP-Delay.dll from PC to laptop. (Plug might have a sad and go into demo mode but might be worth trying).

3) Try 1 & 2 above but to a different directory and not your typical VST directory. (Remember to add this directory to "VST Paths" in Reaper. Also try adding new path before and after original one in Reaper).

Thanks a lot for for chiming in on this n0rd. I'll definitely try your suggestions out.
