File location info missing from Project Bay
Hi all,
I did a quick search and couldn't find anything on the forum about this.
Apologies if it was there and I missed it.
Somewhere along the line, in the last 6 months or so, information pertaining to the file location of assets within a project seems to have been removed from the Project Bay.
If i remember correctly, it used to be on the Source Media tab, but may have been on the Media Items tab.
Either way, it's gone now.
Was this deliberate, or did some lines of code get dropped accidentally in an update?
Surely this feature was handy to more users than just me?
Currently running 5.974.

Can you pin down, which Reaper version was the last, where it was available?
And do you use Mac, Windows, Linux?

Sadly, no, I don't know how I would narrow it down to the last version where that feature was available.... short of a clean windows install, and a slow progression through installing each subsequent release!
Now that I think of it, probably the last time I utilised it would have been approximately March or April of this year (2019), which makes it only in the last 2-3 months.

You can try installing earlier versions of Reaper as portable versions.
That way your normal installation stays intact and you can safely test it.
That's what I'm doing, when I encounter bugs that I want to report.
In the installer, just check the portable-checkbox a the folder-select-page.

If you haven't already, right-click on the column header in each Project Bay tab to check if certain columns are perhaps unchecked (and therefore hidden).
Looks like a 'Path' column is available in the 'Source Media' and 'FX' Tabs.

Well, don't I just feel like a complete idiot!
It's still there.
I just wasn't looking properly.
