Nektar T4 or T6 and Reaper compatibility

I'm seeing some mixed feedback on here, but I don't have a very good sense of how compatible they are considering i've seen huge positive feedback at other places. I've looked at different controllers online while comparing them to the Nektar T4 and T6, and it seems most are just simply inferior to the T4 and T6 when it comes to full integration.

With the T4 and T6 (ignoring the P series), it appears that you can do more in reaper without touching the computer, than any other controller out there.

I have heard that you cant add effects to channels from within a T4 or T6, but you can add them to instruments in nektarine that then goes to a channel. I am not sure about adding global sends only using the controller, to the nektarine mix bus.
