Volume automation zipper noise when project playrate lowered (FIXED)
Just noticed this one...
Here's a test project :
https://stash.reaper.fm/oldsb/58329/VolumeAutomBug.zip
The volume automations sound nice when playrate is set to 1.0. The more the playspeed is lowered, the more zippery sounding the volume automation gets...(It's clearly audible at playrate 0.5)
edit : btw, this is version 2.014...

FIXED (2.145)

zipper noise is systemic in reaper except automation playback
zipper noise need to be fix all around.
biggest problem there is with reaper.
cant use the daw at all live or change settings in a professional studio setting during tracking recording or we sound like were using inadequate system.
id love to use it and pay the $250 license, once zipper noise is fixed!

Any plans on a fix for this volume automation issue while the project playrate is lowered? Or is it something that needs some major code changes...?

we must fix fader ramping, and automation ramping.
the code is clearly partially done, as 1x automation offline works?
in realtime streaming, you ALWAYS get zipper noise
if the fader ramping algorithm is fixed, i bet it will be fixed for automation too..
