Default Re: graphics performance. Before I go into a long winded explanation....

To those fellow Mac Reaperites who wrestle with graphic lags and some near inoperable plugins, please try this for me.... For every monitor on your system, set the colour profile to Apple Cinema Display and let this thread know what you found in terms of graphics performance.

Attached are some png's of my rig: https://my.pcloud.com/publink/show?c...okfWJhwyu4arqV

There is no such profiles on my mac. Are you using actual cinema displays? I think it only displays a profile for the display you are running. For example there are colour profiles for the monitors that I am using that probably won’t show up on your PC and vice versa.

I don't think thats going to matter at all. Those only deal with the color and white point of your display. They have absolutely nothing to do with the actual graphics performance. Done plenty of work on the support side of printing/publishing (used to be a tech specialist for Kinko's corporate offices ages ago before FedEx took over), all that does is sets the color tinting profile and adjusts the spectrum of the whites from 'cool' to 'warm'. Its not going to help with actually drawing graphics.
