Narrowian
Hi,
I've started a new theme for laptop users , "narrow" lovers and maybe orchestral music composers. Impressed by some Reaper themes, Sonar X2 and Studio One v2. My purpose is put this theme "ergonomic"
I've used and modified materials from ; Reaborn 2, Grey Matter, Alternate, Janne Hybrid, WT Imperial Themes. All respect to creators of these themes.
It's not ready to release now but needs visual feedback from you especially laptop users. These are not mock-ups.

No laptop user here, but the TCP looks very promising!

you will get better feedback if you post a beta to the stash... so people can run it... you can always delete that from the stash later, eh?

I would suggest either losing the dB numbers in the MCP, or using LESS of them, because the way they are now looks waaaaaay too cramped and busy, for no good reason. Changing the font for them might also help.

I would expect that the author would have posted an update if there were one.

I did like the lighter grey knobs in the mixer view that you had before though. I am a Walter idiot - would this be something that is easy for me to change once you release the theme?

Nice, although the skeuomorphic knobs on the TCP don't agree with the rest of the them.
I like that the knobs are 3d and everything else is flat, which is as it should be IMO: the things you can interact with just be "raised".
But a Marshall knob, and a Mackie knob.. uhg...the pan pot knob looks appropriate and nice.
I'll put the request in for a dark version, reverse the light tpc and dark borders?

@Farlon: Not sure what that theme you uploaded is/was but it looks nothing like jackdied`s original on my laptop. Assuming this really IS a version of his theme, any chance you could upload a version that looks like his original to the stash?

Farlon's version does look like the one jackdied posted on stash.
It doesn't look the OP ever posted another version.

can't say for sure what method jackdied was using, but this is usually done using one of the following:
- scale is built into the image for the fader background
- scale is built into image for the meter backkground
- scale is built into the layout background
this method also requires a fixed height for the volume.
Because of that, the most flexible method is using the volume background.
That way, you can replace it with a knob or remove the volume altogether when the layout gets below the height required for display the image properly.
