That's pretty cool! I still use the ancient Native Instruments B4 plugin on some projects. I love the sound of a Hammond through a Leslie 147.

Thanks for the kind words. I'll do Long Time at some point, but the problem is going to be vocals. I'm married to a degreed mezzo soprano who can sing solid rock and pop, but she can't hit some of the notes in the original. I know several other strong vocalists and have one in mind that maybe fits. LOL, and if I do Long Time, I'll go fix the "moaning caribou" guitar lick right before the break in what I posted. Afraid my better judgement to rethink it before posting didn't prevail...lol.

This one started as an evaluation of B-3X back when, and recently remixed that project try out Noveltech's "Character" plugin (from PA) on the B-3X. It could never cut thru the wall of sound until I added the "Character" plugin. Also used "Character" on the power chord and FX guitar parts. So its earned a spot in the top shelf.

BTW, first job on the new i9 13900KF box, and what a joy to have what feels like unlimited processing headroom even at 2ms latency. Didn't realize just how much the 13 year old workstation was cramping the workflow.

I just couldn't handle a couple of things in that mix so fixed them and changed the link (since I don't have soundcloud pro that allows changing the file and keeping the link). I must be OCD....lol.

Well I didn't hear it before you made changes but what I heard now was outstanding, really amazing recreation of a true rock classic. Looking forward to "Long Time"

Well Done 👍
