Default (solved) track list issue

Hello!

I can't edit two separate midi items at one editor because everytime I click the midi notes of the other midi item the first one deselect itself.

in all tutorials that I see the selection isn't changing, what function do I need to press, anyone knows?

here is a picture

even if I select both tracks, by adjusting one of them the selection dissapears and I'm back with one editable item.

in your MIDI editor preferences, you have ticked "Avoid automatically setting MIDI items from other tracks editable"

disable that setting, and you will have nominal multi-item editing.

note that lots of actions and scripts do not work on "secondary" items.
basic point-and-click edits work fine, but it's not particularly useful compared to "active" MIDI editor action/script functionality

ok, so I guess it's better to stick with the regular method then
thanks for clarifying!

note that if you were trying to instead edit 2 MIDI items in the same track, you might be told to "glue your items" to properly edit the content, though you may have good reason for keeping these MIDI items discrete

your example of editing 2 items on 2 tracks at the same time is the reason why that advice is inadequate.
