Does DrumCore 4 work in Reaper at all?

Hello there. I've just bought DrumCore 4 Lite because I upgraded my OS. I've had no trouble running DrumCore 3 Free in Reaper 32 bit, but when I started up Reaper 64 bit for the first time minutes ago I got an error about DrumCore 4, which is 64 bit plugin software. I didn't write down the error for reference and I can't get it to come up again. DrumCore isn't showing in my VST plugins list either, probably because of the error. Does DrumCore 4 even work in Reaper? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
You are not alone, man. I'm having the same issue with Dc4 lite. It didn't have a message of erro like in your case. But the plugin didn't show up in the vsti list.I've been struggling to find a solution unfortunately till now in vain. As as I found any solution, I'll share it..

Thanks for replying, dude. I'm currently corresponding with Sonoma Wire Works about getting it working for myself, but I may be able to report back to you on here if I get it fixed and working. I only get the error if I clear the plugins cache and rescan them, by the way. Cheers.

Even for me (Win 10; Reaper 6; 64bit) DrumCore 4 Lite is not shown as VST3i. I previously had KitCore 2 on Win XP (32 bit) and I use the 40's vintage drums. The changeover to 64 bit caused problems.

A discussion with Sonoma Wire Works did nothing. I was directed to the help desk at ILIO (California), who advised me to go to another DAW.

I guess there is a general problem with VST3 in Reaper 6 (64 bit) (Win 10). Reaper recognizes Modartt's Pianoteq 6 and u-he's TyrellN6 as VST3i, but in Stillwell's VST3 effect plugins (Vibe-EQ, Event Horizon) you cannot load presets, just as a simple VST.
