Default Problems with the plugin for Winamp

I can't thank you enough for Jesusonic. I've been messing with it for 20 minutes or so, and although I've barely scratched the surface I'm pleased with what it can do for me so far. The stability and lack of frustration would suggest a far more mature product than I had expected at this early stage, based on the notes on the website and in the readme.

All was well until I tried to use the Winamp plugin.

In the main screen, hitting left-arrow (to change some setting) takes me into the Edit mode (as if I'd pressed E). Even worse, up-arrow does nothing, which makes navigating the main screen next to impossible. Run as an exe, Jesusonic does not display these symptoms, only inside Winamp. I don't *need* to use it in Winamp, but it would be nice.

Cheers

Default What's the benefit of plugging into Winamp?

Just curious. What would plugging into Winamp do for this program? What additional benefits are there to be had?

From what I understand it can use winamp as the input, so you can apply effects and write out to the disk. Damn nifty!

Is there a similar function for linux, where I can use another input besides ALSA/OSS ?

Looking into this problem, hopefully will fix in the next release (only some machines seem to exhibit this problem).

Nice one. Thanks Justin.

In case it helps, my box is a 1.6 GHz Pentium M ThinkPad T41 running XP Pro and a very up-to-date Winamp (5.08 Dec 22nd build).

Default I'll see your problem, and rise you another!

I seam to also be having this problem, no amount of keystrokes have been able to correct it, the add/delete still works, edit obviously works , bypass, etc.. all commands work except the right, up, and down arrow keys. As the original poster said, the left arrow key takes you into edit mode for the effect. Maybe this will help, I am using winamp ver. 5.08[Dec. 22nd 2004], and Jesusonic ver. 0.98 [Jan. 11th 2005].

Ps. This is some great stuff justin.

Thanks,

Can everybody who has this problem tell me the following:
  • cpu
  • video card
  • keyboard type (usb vs ps2, french vs. us, etc)
  • OS version
  • winamp version
  • winamp skin used (modern or classic, or other)
  • any additional winamp general purpose plug-ins used

I just can't duplicate it on any of my machines, sadly.

thanks,

Justin

Default Anyone try Winamp 2.x and hardware DSP

Just wondering, does Jesusonic work with older winamp? And any up coming version will use the hardware MPU found in some soundcard?

Default Maybe bug or just me :(

I am using the Jesusonic v0.99 with winamp v5.08 on WinXP
(SP2)

I got a crash every time I try to resize the Jesusonic's
window.

Justin I have attached a screenshot with the error
that might help you.
