Default change grid to loop

lets say i have a loop, or an arrangement in 3 bars. then i want to change the grid so i can put in a 4 4 hi hat and kick underneath it? how do i change the grid so it fits the loop? is there a easy way to do this?

Are you working with Audio or MIDI?
And can you maybe also post a little example or screenshot of what you want to do, exactly (like how do the 3 bars - which you want to fit into a 4/4 beat - look like)?


In general:
- For MIDI: stretching the MIDI Item length smaller/larger might be sufficient. If you need to adjust note positions inside the MIDI Item, also have a look at selecting an appropriate Grid size at the bottom of the MIDI Editor.
