Default Change MCP Layout when Track is selected?

Hi there,
Is there any way to automatically change the layout of a MCP track when it is selected/highlighted?

E.g. I have a theme where all MCP tracks are dark by default ("Layout A"). The theme has a layout option ("Layout B") where the MCP track is light.
As soon as I select the track (no matter if in TCP or MCP) the TCP track should change the layout from A to B automatically.

Possible in any way?

Perhaps this can be accomplished with a script. It is not my area of expertise, but track selection and layouts are values/actions that can be chained together, as far as I know. Getting back to your original layout might be the harder part. I will leave any further rambling to someone more qualified. Good luck!

I do this by setting the track to change to the wide layout by using the existing V6 theme script.

That would be one solution, yes. Thanks for that idea!
My problem is, that I actually don't like that theme and have switched to a different one (with many layouts) quite some time ago.
So I was thinking if there would be a way to switch layouts automatically without the theme script.

You can also use mouse modifiers.

Goto-->Preferences/Mouse Modifiers/Mixer Control Panel/Double Click(or another)
choose a modifier/specify a custom action that changes the layout(or an existing action)

Unfortunately you'll need to specify another action to change back the layout unless you can work out how a cycle action might work in this case
