Default "Grid snap settings follow grid visibility" not working in the MIDI editor

I'm not sure if this is a missing feature or a bug, but I think this option should apply to the MIDI editor grid too and not just the arrange window. I rarely see the need to snap to invisible grid lines.

Thank you!

Really hoping this gets looked at some day. MIDI notes should snap like items in the arrange view, in my case it would be only to visible grid lines.

same feelings here

for some reason, the relative snap won't work, if I zoom out a lot and the gridlines change, the notes should snap to the grid relatively but they don't :X

Invisible grid should imply no snap, OK
but visible grid shouldn't imply snap IMO.

It's important to see the grid when you want to drag notes slightly offbeat (without snap, of course).

Me too. But I think the behaviour is by design and this would be more a FR than a bug.
Check out points 1 & 2 of this feature request I made https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=237057 and if you agree you might consider supporting them.

Yeah, you're probably right. Supported your FR.
