Default Is there a reason the plugin pin connector is sideways? (picture included inside)

Is there a particular reason for the plugin pin connector window to have the text sideways?
This looks much more usable and readable to me.
Am I missing something?

Never thought about it until now. I just used it. Although if you expand beyond just channels 1/2 to more like 4 sets of L/R will it be any different?

It should just continue growing normally.
3/4 will appear to the right of 1/2 and to the left of the text.
They can also implement an option to show the text on the left side of the matrix rather than the right.

yep, it's the same regardless of its orientation.
Would make a nice check box option in the preferences.

@Birdy If you made a Feature Request, I for one would vote for it as often as I could !

Good idea & I am surprised the rest of us hadnt thought of this sooner.

Erm, the horizontals are the track channels.

The connections "go up" from those channels to the plug-in and "come down" from the plug-inn onto the channels.

So I'm happy with what we have.

----------------------
Maybe it depends on how you open the FX:
-- from the TCP - then the track channels run horizontally (as in the track Arranger view)
-- from the MCP - then the track channels run vertically (notionally as in the Mixer view).

I have to agree with DarkStar ^^^^^.
(even the text is a little bit harder to read maybe, but not so much of problem).

What’s the difference if the connections go “right and left” rather than “up and down”?
