Default duplicate midi note ?

srry for such a simple ?

im wanting only to draw 1 note in a single bar in the midi editor but every time i put a note in

it does in every bar this is great but not if you
don't need it at a particular time .

I'm guessing that you've looped a bar by dragging its right edge.
You need to split the bar you wish to edit from the rest.

Make a time selection covering that bar, then press Shift & S to split at the time selection.

Edits made to that bar will now affect only that bar. However, the bars before it and after it will now also be separate items. If you want to retain the ability to edit them together, you'd do better to copy the bar you want to edit onto another track, without splitting the original, edit it, and then drop the copy on top of the original.
