Ah, but Kenny isnt spanish and tilde isnt an exclusively spanish word or indeed punctuation aid.
I am leaning more and more towards Teal die as an acceptable universal english version....
Maybe I should start a Wiki entry and really mess stuff up?
(sorry - I`ll stop now)

Thanks Kenny for that video. I moved over from Logic because I was sick of all the error messages and a producer friend of mine told me about Reaper so I tried it out and it has been great ever since and the videos help me find stuff and learn more about it in general. keep up the good work!

Thank for the vid series, it really helped me to understand Reaper, and a DAW period, as this is my first time really using DAW software.
Please let me know how I can get the updated videos, thanks.

It's fixed now.
They re-configured a bunch of stuff and the old ones got thrown back in.
So just log in and re-download.

I recently purchased a REAPER license and needed a little help getting aquainted with this new world
A friend of mine (cockos forum::reepicheep) suggested that I get this video set - I'm soooooo glad I did.
Excellent work and greatly appreciated!!
I will happily purchase any further products you offer for REAPER without hesitation
thank you very much Kenny

Hello Kenny, great video, looks good and very informative. Btw, I bought your drums some years ago and had totally forgot about them, found the discs just the other day. Will try them out in Reaper soon. Still looking for a handy little sampleplayer to go with Reaper. Any suggestions?

Kenny your vids are great, well worth buying. Up to now, I just record songs with one vocal and one acoustic guitar track at home but I'm going through a revolutionary time thanks to your videos. While Im still getting protools, Reaper will be my creative partner for many years to come.
thanks again

I'm planning to get the tutorial video but after seeing the navigation video, I realized that some shortcuts aren't possible on my mac with azerty keyboard. For example, the shift-1 shortcut doesn't work at all. Any advice on this? Thanks!

I'm not familiar with the AZERTY setup (just looked it up on WIKI). However, from my experience on Mac QWERTY, some of the commands seem "dead" until I clear them (remove them) and then add them again via my own keyboard. Obviously in some instances there is a translation problem that bypasses certain keys or whatever and so those commands have to be reinforced when they are encountered. There is no reason (logically) why "Shift-1" shouldn't work if you go to actions and remove and then re-add that command to do what you intend it to.
I could be wrong in your case, but give it a try if you haven't already.

What he said.
The beauty of Reaper is that any key command can be changed to anything. And I show you in the tutorial how to do this. So I would be really surprised if a workaround couldn't be found. BTW - I'm on a Mac too. Keep us posted. Thanks

Only just started it but I like what I see (maybe some of the repetitive edits could be shortened further?). Anyway great medium for learning and done really well.
Thx Kenny.

Thank you.
I agree. I struggled with what to take out but it seemed like a lot of effort to give people less.
That's why I broke it up into 37 different videos all named appropriately.
For instance the "Cleaning Up Tracks" video is 23 minutes. If you get the idea after the first few minutes, jump to the next video. You won't miss anything important. Just more cleaning up.
But I figured that there will always be some people who want a slower and longer process. So they have that option too.
Thanks

Hey Kenny, will there be any "coupon" discounts for this video or was that only for Reaper users who wanted to buy your Reaper Explained videos?
ie. is there a group buy incentive?
This new recording video looks useful and promising.

There is already a discount going on now for $37.50 I believe.
I think that that's just for the next week or so.
The regular price is $49.99. So that's about 25% off.
I don't think we're gonna go much lower than that.
Thanks

Hey Kenny. I hadn't actually checked if there was a "discount" and simply watched the demo. My question was more a generic one based on what you guys offered forum members in the past with regard to your Reaper tutorial. I'm sure it's worth every penny.
EDIT: Product paid for and soon to be enjoyed.

Groove3 does such nice work I think I'm in for the 99buck-one year.
My memory is very bad. Just recently I went back through some of the reaper stuff and it's amazing how quickly I forget. Anyways, the groove3 vids keep me out of enough trouble to warranty yet more cash from me.
Of course I'm hedging my bet that there will be a reaper 4 vid in the next year

Anyone sitting on the fence about whether to get Kenny's new mixing tutorial videos - DO IT!
There's a heap of wisdom and useful tips for getting great sounds in this new series, as well as some in depth information about workflow and setting up a proper mixing session.
Well worth the viewing.

The intro shows that this is a well constructed tutorial, and as a brand new user to Reaper I'm going to get the download, especially now its been reduced in price, and the US dollar is so devalued.
Plus I think it's awesome that Christopher Moltisanti from the Soprano's is the narrator

Too bad it's PT instead or Reaper.
But your working logic is applicable to any DAW, which only proves that it was extremely well done.

Yeah. I considered doing both at the same time then I realized that would exclude other DAWs too.
So I chose to focus on the Mixing. Not the software.
Most of this stuff could be applied to mixing on a real console as well. In fact, that's how I would do it if thrown back into that world.
Thanks for the support.

Just wanted to say, Kenny, what a nice mix this is with a relatively keep it simple approach and really only basic plugins. Bit of an eye opener for me.
Suspect my next mix will be a little better. Thx.

I just wanted to say that I got the Reaper Explained video and it does a great job of getting a newbie up and running. Also does a great job of showing how amazingly powerful yet simple Reaper really is. I'm switching from Nuendo, BTW.

Awesome.
Once you "get" Reaper, it seems like every other DAW should really take the time to re-think their DAW.
