Apogee Rosetta and AD-16x Compatible w/Reaper?

I was thinking of "upgrading" to one of these legacy Apogee products (with X-Symphony card and Symphony 32 PCI card), but I don't see much about folks using them here.

Anyone have any trouble with them?

I'm using Mac OS 10.8, currently an ESI Juli@. Looking for more I/O options without onboard preamps and the old Apogees (Rosetta 800, AD/DA16x) seem to be pretty reasonable currently.
