Default extended paramter modulation?

i love being able to add an lfo to whatever vst parameters - a superb feature! the smooth random is especially nice for adding that generative touch. i'm curious if, via reaper extensions (or some other method such as a js plugin), there's a way to add more parameter lfo options? such as stepped random (like s&h). or draw your own lfo shape. i know i could use reaktor/mccgenerator vst to do fancy lfo footwork here and send midi ccs but then we're limited to only 0-127 steps that way.

any ideas or leads greatly appreciated!

You can use (e.g.) any Midi CC "curve" for parameter modulation.

regarding very complex ( ) random driven CC curve generation there is (e.g.) ReaPacj -> Midi CC fluctuation. ReaPack -> ReaRack also can generate interesting CC stuff.

For "smoth" cc youj need to sue high resolution ("HR") CC. As well "fluctuation" as ReaRack do use HR.
