Default Dual monitors with different resolutions?

I currently use two 23" monitors that each have 1920 x 1080 resolution.

I am considering replacing one of those monitors with a 27" 2560 x 1440 monitor.

I know my computer will have no problem handling it, but will there be any issues with Reaper and plugins having 2 monitors with different resolutions?

I'm guessing that you will run your new monitor at the same scale factor, by which I mean you will be getting more screen space rather than making things bigger? This will be absolutely fine.

Just to be aware: at the same scale factor, the images and text on the 27" screen will be 12% smaller, it has more Pixels-per-inch..

Have a look at these calculations:

PS Is there a simple guide to how Windows scaling works? For example, what happens to each pixel when scale by 125%, 150% or 200%?

I've been bypassing Windows monitor management for years and use DisplayFusion.
