Default Sort Items AND Groups by Peak

Hello!

I'm working on organizing multi-mic'ed drum samples.
Does anyone know of a way to select all the items from one microphone (let's say Snare Top), use that mic as the source for organizing items by peak volume, but also have grouped items (like overheads, room mics, snare bottom, etc.) move along with their parent Snare Top item?

The SWS actions for organizing by volume don't seem to work on anything other than selected items.

Thanks!

I have re-ordering items which can support items grouping relative positions

I plug that into most avdanced scripts, like my Set Item Order and Post script : https://www.extremraym.com/en/downlo...ce-items-pack/

This script doesn't handle Loudness in the box (this would require more dev) but as a quick workarround you can rename items with loudness via SWS Label Processor, and do a simple Sort by name (already possible va the script)

Thanks, X-Raym! I was hoping you would be able to offer advice, so I'm glad you saw this. I may have to dive into some lua scripting to make this work. I appreciate the work you've done.

Thanks for your appreciation

I tweaked my advanced Set Positions and Order scripts, it can now handle items grouping position so you can do groups sorting, spacing etc...

Again, I can add native support for volume analysis if needed, else you can use SWS label processor and do a simple alphabetical sort.
