This isn't my cup of cointreau, but it was really nice to listen to but as a guitar player I would wish for some power in the solo violins, but this isn't rock'n roll

Hi Mikael.

I use to be a rocker,...long time ago.
I prefer quieter things now. Some of my pieces are sometime more powerful, but not that much.
Thanks for your comments and listening anyway.

Bye.

_A cup of Calva maybe ? ;-)

Enjoy, bye.

Hi Prom.

Yes, Scottish weather might not be that different from mine in Normandy this days.

BR was part of a little "contest" we've done with friends on another forum. Trying to illustrate the 1982 movie "Blade Runner".

Thanx for the comments and listening.

Track worx for me as accompaniment to work by guy who wrote this - "Almost nobody dances sober, unless they happen to be insane."

Set fire to a shot glass of that delicious apple brandy and pour over tarte.

*Do not burn down ones home in the process !

Liked it Jeranx

Hi Prom.

How is it in Scotland these days.

"Never sober, never dancer" I should say.

I used to for maybe 1 or 1.5 year around the Ska music arrival. This rhythm was telling me something when I was 16 or so.
Since then, no dance. As a former drummer, I'm always dancing inside or at the tip of my fingers and toes.

Thanx for your kindness and poetry.

Next week maybe, Bye

Jeranx,
I like your placement of video within window in still image.

"Last piece, last dress. Not consistent, not very precise, but well laughed." wtf? Translation or Completely Lost In Translation?

You sound inside TV/Film --> drama/documentary.

Hi my scottish friend.

I sometime use Deepl Translator but my English being not so bad, I try to make some spiritual sentences by myself. Despite I'm not that accustomed to this media and software, I'm trying to do my best with Resolve to produce some funny or maybe interesting things to watch. I've just discover how to make a part of an image to disappear so I wanted to try it and those windows looks kind of appropriate.

Unfortunately, lot of people says that I'm doing more like a movie scorer, but I'm still trying to be a music writer.

Anyway, thanx for your kind comments.

Bye.

First thing that struck me was the weird waveform. It's so flat but there's still those big peaks.

I think orchestral music benefits from a lot more dynamic range. Maybe some master track volume automation to make the climactic parts louder?

It's got some good atmosphere. I like the end best.

Hi Fox.

You're probably true about the volume. Some of my pieces are a bit louder. But this is supposed to be more intimate, only a few (7) solo strings.

But you're right. Usually, after the mix is finished, I go to the Master track and play with Tempo and Volume. This time, only the tempo was modified. In fact, I'm very new to this universe and I'm a little shy by nature and always afraid of making it too loud.

Thanx for comments.

Default En marche

New thing,

for those who are not following the french policy these days, that was the tagline of our wonderful, marvelous president. Just a private joke with a penfriend.

Now, strings again, with brass near the end.

Enjoy, Bye
