Default Missing input combination when recording stereo using multiple interfaces

I am using ASIO4ALL and attempting to record using multiple interfaces; or rather, simultaneously utilizing inputs on two different USB audio interfaces.

However, the UI for per-track input selection does not show me the stereo combination which I desire and expect. Instead it only offers me the inverse...

See below, how one of the options is "MTrack In 2 / BEHRINGER USB AUDIO 1"

That's nice, except I actually would like "MTrack In 1 / BEHRINGER USB AUDIO 2". It is not listed or available as an option, yet it should be.

Especially considering that's how things are specified in my audio device settings:

I hope the issue is now apparent and that I don't have to explain any further. Just to prove those inputs are available as mono recording tracks, here's another screen capture as well as the contents of my ASIO4all window.

I am running Reaper v5.984 and ASIO4ALL 2.14 on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, Intel Core i9 @ 3.60GHz (Kaby Lake) and 32GB of RAM on an ASRock Z390 Taichi motherboard. Radeon RX 580 graphics, Sound Blaster Z card complemented by an older M-Audio M-Track Plus and Behringer U-Phoria UM-2.

I'd greatly appreciate a fix for this bug! I've been with this DAW for nearly two decades and have always spread the good word about Cockos software. Thanks.

This isn't really a bug -- those two mono inputs are not adjacent, and REAPER only supports stereo inputs between two adjacent mono inputs. If you think this is a stereo combination you'll use a lot, you can go to preferences/audio, input aliasing, you can reorder the inputs to put them next to eachother.
